Notes: Depicts Dugald Dalgetty and Ranald MacEagh riding out of Inverary, the former with his hand on his forehead, the latter mounted and armed and looking backward, as they proceed away from a gallows, on which three figures have been hung, as two women weep below it [Ch. 14]. Legend dated 1 December 1828.
