(See Russell, Francis, 'Portraits of Sir Walter Scott' (London: White Brothers, 1987), Item 55, pp.40-41). Also appears in the Centenary edition of the Waverley Novels: see #CEN0001. (Another engraving of the same portrait, by Henry Robinson, appears as the frontispiece to vol. 1 of the Fisher edition of the Waverley Novels. See #FIS0001).
